Realistic Racing YouTube Channel Empty Realistic Racing YouTube Channel

As per the title, any thoughts on having our own YouTube channel where official (editited) race videos and adverts can be uploaded by one of the site admins? Or do we feel it would be too onerous to maintain?

Just a thought as a few forums I've been checking out (for research purposes of course) have them.

I like the idea. The problem is that we need to have someone with the external hard drive to save the videos on to edit. I looked at the good ones and they are around a 1000.00 for a good setup. Do we even have anyone on here that has the equipment to do the videos?

You can buy an HD PVR for around 200, it records gameplay and you can upload it to the net. Can even stream if you connect it to your computer. Not sure about editing software.

Ok I guess I didn't think this one through before posting - didn't realise all that equipment would be needed.

HOWEVER - It still can be done. There are guys on FM.Net that do this for sites too. I had a guy, RacinRamondo or something like that, do my CTCS races for season 1. He was average compared to some of these guys. He did it for free.

Del I was thinking this is something right up Nick's street, but he seems to have disappeared - thought he'd have been all over the F1 series...

I own a capture card. It isn't a PVR but it still has good quality! If you guys are still up to the idea, I can help you out!

King that would be awesome. We should do one for the next Porsche Cup.

It's a great idea, takes someone with dedication. I mean that's a full time "job" as far as the website would go, one of the problems IMO is this year's lag tire smoke.
