Assetto Corsa

Following in the footsteps of Slightly Mad Studios and Project Cars, Assetto Corsa another PC racing simulator will be coming to XB1 and PS4 in 2016.

Looking around their site I notice they lack the cars and tracks of PCARS. One standout is Mugello which many of us enjoyed on Forza 4.

Regardless what you think of Forza and PCARS, more competition will only bring better products. Each company looking to out due the other. Very exciting times in the Racing Game Community.

Saw a trailer for this game on youtube, looks like it's got more licences car-wise compared to PCARS, But gameplay/handling is what can make or break a racing game, but as you said more competition in the genre should improve quality overall going forward

That's what I really care about Paramore more competition can only help. With PCARS in the state its in it isn't much but It gets Turn 10 off their ass.

It's going to make T10 realise the xbox racing genre is not their own anymore, PCARS has a lot of potential and they must have noticed that and with Assetto Corsa also coming to consoles they have to seriously up their game on FM6, Game like Need For Speed, Burnout etc cater to a different audience so they weren't really a threat to a sim racer but now they can't afford another shambles like FM5

Assetto is a great simulator. In my opinion it's one of the best on PC at the moment behind only a few titles. The handling/physics/graphics and sound are top notch. The game has great potential. Unfortunately on PC the game is lacking tracks and cars but the stuff they do have is outstanding but it's just not enough. Hopefully by the time it reaches consoles they will have more content. If it does.. We will have many great races with this game.
