Firstly Steve and myself hope this news finds all our friends and members in good health and well rested

Both Steve and I have been discussing the best way forward for Realistic Racing in the near future as we have a few cool new games due out as well as all our favourite long wait for Forza 4 and we have made a few decisions for the good of the site in the hope this year we can kick on and grow the way we we would like it to.

As you are all aware last year I fell pretty ill at a very untimely time for the site Steve also with work etc etc was left alone with it which I take full responsibillity for as for some time was not in a position to contact him which left things in limbo. Taking this into consideration we have decided that we need a few more people higher up the ladder so to speak so that if anything happens like that again we have enough guys to step up and keep things ticking over and posting etc and that can make decisions on our behalf etc. We have decided to promote both DirtyDawg73 and a super new found friend to myself in Twister18 so congrats to those guys and thank you for accepting the responsibility. We have room and ideas were working on to bring another couple of guys to this group with us and wel anounce more in the near future. We would also like to say at this point as everyone knows we also widely respect Mr Superfast Hellisan and he obviously has a say with authority here also but we also respect how busy he is etc. Ok so DirtyDawg73 has been running races both here and at Tradition Sports Online and that has been noticed and welcomed so we have given him a bigger say in what goes on here. We realise that nobody here knows Mr Twister18 other than me and Tradition members really so il give a little intro etc. I met Twister18 via Tradition a few months back playing Black Ops and I have spent many hours shooting n blowing up bitches with him and he is a super guy I have a lot of time and respect for. He has the same sim gaming morales etc that all Tradition members have so he is of the same ilk as us although not a racer YET (lol) he will bring some great ideas for us I am sure. One thing we are seriously looking at is some sort of in house league or matches etc here for Modern Warfare 3 of which Twister18 has very kindly agreed to run/co-run for us whcich will in turn bring more new guys to Realistic Racing as well as giving something a little different to our new members (I tell ya guys theres no better feeling than shooting something when Forza frustrates you lol). We are sure you will all make him very welcome here in his new venture and time with us.

It doesnt end their we are looking at a couple of other positions for loyal members also and we will promote people with out doubt giving them extra permissions etc for supporting us and striving to move the site forward.

Some great news for us I think is weve heard that Forza 4 is going back to similar lobbies to Forza 2 which will hopefully give us a much better chance to recruit new members so If you guys are in a lobby and meet a genuine Realistic type of member please send him along and just message sng73 or myself his Gamertag so we can accept him/her quickly and smoothly to the site. Obviously attracting more members is important to us because things crop up and if a couple need to cancel something it won't hurt us as much as it has in the past. Another idea in the pipeline is maybe having a Forza academy for new racers in say something like B class that the big boys can't enter so they can have a good chance of winning races and progressing to help keep them interested etc. Like I say thats in our thoughts on how we can do it and find someone to take care of it.

we will still be taking the same stance and morales we have since day one by not advertising on any other big sites for the same origional reason that we want to progress through word of mouth thus keeping the integrity and quality of member we have.

We our good to expand to quite a size before bandwith becomes a paying issue which Steve and I will take care of with no cost to members etc. If we can get this thing going well this year I will also buy a domain name ie .com or .co.uk etc. One other thing is we are now listed on a few search engines which has taken a while but as you will see we have bots on our site quite a bit now so im hoping a few new members will be created that way.

Also if you guys know of other groups that play other games that need a forum to organise games etc please send them our way as we can add game headings and a forum for them and they would always be more than welcome. I can have a board set up for them in about an hour so it can be sorted really quick for them as long as they take responsibilty for looking after it ie threads, posts, and cleaning etc.

Ok guys sorry for the long essay (you all know I can talk for hours anyway lol) but thats pretty much where were at and where we would like to head. Please feel free to post your comments, ideas or would like to discuss anything further with us in the discussion forum.

Thank you from Steve and I and happy gaming guys

May the Forza be with you

Just to let you all know Chelsea had been given admin rights as he has very kindly offered to help me with some site work for a week or so. He will then be back to speedking once the work is complete. This may happen from time to time to enable chelsea to help me.

Thank you

As most of you know the last month or so I haven't been able to spend much time on the site or racing etc due to Helen's health, however she is now back to work for a bit which meens I can go back to my usual time zone. Steve and I have spoken as well as getting ideas from others to get things pushing forward again. You will see a few changes to the site over the next week or so. I have to say I was in a party with sniper a couple of days ago and decided to look at a few stats and It was pretty shocking. The main stat that bothered me was that 59 members had not visited the site within the last 30 days. Before I had my time away we were getting at least 20 members a day looking at the site and when I cam back we were at about 9 and 5/6 of those were people of standing which is a terrible number. I have also heard well there wasn't much going on and to be honest that's a bs response because anyone can run things here it shouldn't always fall on the same few members. This site should be able to take care of itself for a week or so if I or Steve need to be away it shouldn't just stop working etc. Also just to make it common knowledge we have appointed sniper as an admin for 2 reasons:
1. He has put in a lot of effort in and worked hard to help the site
2. He is very keen to see Realistic Racing continue and improve as we are
So if Steve or I are not able to be around he is the next line of command etc. Also other things like the Fifa league etc has suffered due to people just not bothering to get their games done and I want to see it all to start moving and getting done again, just cos a new game comes out that doesn't meen you forget what you signed up to before that game came out. Over the coming weeks the main plan is to recruit some fresh blood to the site and liven things up. I am also thinking about looking through the members list and see whos reliable and who is not and what we can do about it. To be honest over the last few weeks I have had a hard enough time as it is and then I come back to see the state of things here. I thinks the FIA GT series that Tyw33d has put together is a great series and it is really sad that we could only get 12/14 drivers for it. So for series that are coming up I would like to see people getting bums in cars where you can and cars on grids pls, it doesn't matter how quick or slow you think you are it's about having fun with the group. I will be having further talks with Steve and sniper to see what we do about the members we have that are clearly inactive and uninterested.

So I ask all members to help us move forward and be an active community.

Thank you
