FIA WEC Silverstone

Spent Sunday at Silverstone watching the six hour race that kicks of the WEC season. Lots of stuff to like including the new Porsche GTE car, new rear wing on rebellion and four Aston martins all painted in the exact same Gulf livery!

All I know about this race is that Audi was 1, 2

First year since, like 1998, that a Porsche Team has been in it. I guess with the devouring (and ruining, IMO) of ALMS in the USA, you all are reaping the benefits. Happy for you. That must have been very cool. You were a champ for making it back to race F1.

Bergmeister, Bernhardt, and the crew will probably go full time in Europe after this year. I think four of them are racing in most or all of the "LeMans" events.

Looking forward to the lmp1 porsches year. Looks like Silverstone is going to be used to launch the w.e.c like Sebring is for the alms. Getting used to the new 911, looks like it has the largest smile on it

Would you like to adopt me? Racing over here officially sucks. (Racing in general is great, but it's mostly best in Europe, Australia, and Asia, especially now that ALMS is gone and IndyCar needs some technology.
