DAY & TIME
Monday night 9.30EST which is 2.30GMT Tuesday morning
MULTI CLASS CAR BUILDS
CAR CHOICE
Drivers will be able to choose which car you want when you register however we would like to see an even split in cars on the grid to make bothe championships a worthy field. We maybe looking for guys that don't mind which car they drive to help enable this to happen. I have said I will be doing that as I like both cars etc. If you are a driver that doesn't mind which car you drive please message Luongo. Just to let everyone know in the escort if you use cockpit view we have discovered the mirror shows back to front so I suggest if you use cockpit view run and test what were saying if you don't like it then the RS200 works fine.
TRACK CHOICE
Please see schedule topic and poll
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Race theme but doesn't have to be a replica
Number board on doors
number rear of the car
Official RR Series logo - On RR DelZaster's Storefront for free
as this is a follow on series both Luongo and DelZaster will be running the #1 plate but different colours
RACE SERIES RULES
Drivers choose 1 of the above cars and MUST build it with the parts listed for the said car. We will expect the usual RR rules and way of racing such as overtakes called and minimum chat on the headset during qually and race please.
This series runs for 9 weeks total - 1 exhibition race and 8 points scoring weeks
2 races per night - 1 sprint and 1 feature with a pit stop
6 seconds Roll off delay between classes
Standing Start
Reverse grid for race 2
This is not a team event but if drivers want to share info etc that's fine
POINTS ALLOCATION & QUALIFICATION
Points Allocation:
The winner of the race will be the person with the quickest race completion time per class. This allows for someone in a "lower" lobby to win the race. The qualification rules will answer all concerns as it pertains to sandbagging.
Points Structure:
***This will be an experimental merger of the 2 known site approved methods.***
Qualification will occur on race night. 5 laps will be run with collisions off, the fastest time is the pole position for that particular lobby. There will not be a pole position reward aside from having clean air from the get go. With that said, the individual lobbies will be sorted by Championship points. This means that if lobby A runs 10 drivers, the drivers in position 1-10 on the championship points table will be in lobby A. This system places you in lobbies where you will be racing against drivers of your caliber, thereby preventing a super fast driver from being able to just run the race as though they were hot lapping against much slower drivers. In combination with the point system, it also allows a driver in a lower lobby to place at higher positions if they are faster than the drivers in the lobby above them.
