ATTN all IMSA DRIVERS
I would like to thank all of you for participating and making this series what it was. Without you guys, the drivers, there is no series so take some time to commend your self for racing no matter you finishing points. With that said, I would like to congratulate Raceboy on the comeback victory hell, Hellisan on his 2nd place finish, and Sniper on his 3rd place finish. I know I only had the pleasure of running with the big boys a couple times in the series but what experience I had was simply awe inspiring. Again Congrats!!!
Also I would like to give a special thanks to Chelsea for making it happen. We had some bumps during the journey but the series was well run and very fun to be in. I was fortunate enough to run in both A and B rooms and I have to say the competition was amazingly close in both rooms.
Finally I would like to give shout out to our 19th place finisher, Octoberdusk, for plugging away and earning a top 20 finish. It's racers like you who make the quitters look absolutely silly and give the other drivers of your caliber someone to race against. Honestly I could give a rats ass how fast or slow you are, your exhibited commitment is a far more important virtue in my book. I hope to see you in other series.

Re: ATTN all IMSA DRIVERS
well said Soul Harvest.
Big props to October for showing up every race and trying as hard as everyone else.
Great Series and thank you for all the work it took to put it together. All I had to do was qualify and show up...pretty easy for the drivers.

Everything that s0ulharv3st has said goes double for me with one extra thank you to Hellsbelss for all the work that she put into a series that she didn't take part in, but everyone has seen throughout. So again thanks to everyone. I've had a blast.

I guess I should have read this before I posted in discussion as your post Shane is exactly right and better than mine LMAO.
I also have to say when we started RR nearly 3 years ago this is the kind of series ambition we had and to finally see this happen now its awesome. That being said we as owners, admin, speed kings, and drivers mustn't rest we must continue to move forward and improve things however I think we should all take a little time and enjoy what we have all achieved.
I would also like to thank Shane for his tireless amount of time and work he puts in on the site honestly these days without him we would be screwed however Shane thats a compliment sir it doesn't meen Il have sex with you LOL.
I would also like to thank, oh hell I could go on forever to be honest naming people and thanking them so il just say thank you all LOL.

Re: ATTN all IMSA DRIVERS
Wow, your comments almost choked me up. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found such a group of people who are committed, mature, detail oriented, clean AND fast, and, above all, value integrity and helping the "less fortunate." This experience has been all I could have imagined and more. (I wanted a perfect attendance record but my 2009 MINI blew up on game night a week back).
My goals going forward are to promote this group, get better, help those VERY FEW that could learn skills from me, and be a good friend and pay it forward. Also, I hope to someday start a GRID2 IndyCar, F1, or similar series.
Things that touched me (and I'm leaving some out I'm sure) were the way Del and Chelsea bent over backward to get me into Porsche (actually GAVE me one and a paint scheme) the NIGHT BEFORE the first race, even sitting and talking with me for several hours about who RR was.
And Phibb, I think you spent at least a couple of hours actually talking me through the tuning details one night. That was so helpful.
And last, but probably not least, Xman for not going "fucking October who?" when I dropped his name to Del in order to join this crowd. He was one of the guys I met in the attempted Aussie car series, and I got such a great feel from them just listening during races, then a referral, THEN he invited me to be a part of the S2R Club. I never could have imagined. They fit me like a glove, except for the slow part.
And last but not least, all of you who know what it's like to have such a passion for this sport racing, but had to, at some point, started gaming instead of trying to be the next Mario Andretti, and found that there was a learning curve. I can feel that vibe off of many, if not all, of you. And it makes me feel I have found a home.

Speed2 is proud to have you! And it does not matter how fast you are, it is how much heart you put into it. I am not the fastest guy out there (obviously) but I show up to each and every race and finish where I can, no matter how much damage I have. You will get better and better each and every time you hit the track on this game. Now to get you into an ALMS car.....LOL

Re: ATTN all IMSA DRIVERS
I enjoyed the couple of races that we were in the same lobby October. We seem to be pretty even on the track so it should make for a good little rivalry going forward.

Re: ATTN all IMSA DRIVERS
Had a great time this season guys and look forward to doing some more racing soon.
I never did get a full grasp on tuning the cup car, I probably should have bought the car pack more than a week before the season started. lol

Re: ATTN all IMSA DRIVERS
I also want to thank all who could not qualify for any given race, but otherwise would have smoked me on the track. The glass ceiling of each lobby was a beautiful thing, especially when I got to watch some fast dudes lap me repeatedly and still finish 18th.

Great posts October we are glad your enjoying your time with us. Your first post is exactly RR's aim and morals so when I see a post like that it really tells me were performing as we should.
