Re: WEEKLY SCHEDULE - WEEK #8
Let me just say that I'm so glad we no longer have the ability to restart a race. That was bs and those of you that pulled it damn well know it. Hypocrites just like I called you last night. Hope it makes you feel satisfied.

Re: WEEKLY SCHEDULE - WEEK #8
the ability to restart well before 10 min in is always avail for lag almost never for driver error like at sadona where your lag on the first corner gave me 100 percent on the front half of my car...did i back out or ask for a restart NO i finished 8th...
he had a tough start and had damage before he spun wicked he could have called it on lap two/three
the back of the fields start was a disaster could have called a restart then
i and others have reviewed the replay and will do so again
as RR rules state NO QUITING!!!!

Re: WEEKLY SCHEDULE - WEEK #8
Since when do you review the replays? Just curious....
I am trying to stay neutral in this one, but Roscoe - you have called for restarts for the same thing - getting wrecked. Pot calling kettle black sir.
Series rules allow for one restart within 3 laps of the race. They were on 3rd flying lap. They called for a restart and the 3-4 of you up front bitched about it.
Lets not sugarcoat it. If it was u instead of forst and wicked, you would have thrown a tantrum.
I will be adjusting the rules to state no restarts. Then you screw up, so sorry.
I will be watching the replay as I generally do, and I will see how it happened and penalize accordingly if needed. You made it clear earlier that you did not like the non qualifiers in the race, but it is not your call. If you want control of a series, please feel free to create one and I will run in it too. Final request however, stop telling me how to run my races or series. If you do not like the racing, feel free to run something else. But this weekly bickering is over. Not everything is going to be how someone likes it, but I have seen and heard you call for a restart before for the same thing.

The 2 biggest differences between the Sedona race and last night is that 1. you were offered a restart MULTIPLE times by myself and several others INCLUDING Forst and 2. that lag wreck happened nearly 10 flying laps into the race; not on the 3rd lap like last night. Your incident was waved off by YOU because we were already well into the race. Make no mistake though, you were offered the chance to restart
Bottom line is that you got a great jump on the field due to an oddly timed start and you didn't think it would happen twice.
Also, what difference does it make if you and "your guys" are reviewing the replay? Not your series, nor your call. You already were part of who screwed this for both wicked and forst why would you then try to justify being a hypocrite?

Re: WEEKLY SCHEDULE - WEEK #8
Here is how i remember it happening. When the restart was called for, on my screen i had just started lap five and were over ten minutes in which is why i said no, i didn't realize at the time we don't count the out lap so i guess we were just starting lap four. The crash itself happened right in front of me and sublime, and didn't seem to bad with one car continuing at a pretty decent pace for the remainder of the race.
I think your guys arguments are because it was right at the end of the restart window, one corner in fact. According to rules a restart could have been called for, but you could also argue that we were quite a way in and it was driver error that caused a relatively minor accident.
My point is that it could have been called either way as i see it. No need to get all worked up over it, can't change it now any-who.
P.S we really need to sort out the rolling starts

Re: WEEKLY SCHEDULE - WEEK #8
Wow...there seems to be lots of panties ruffled after last nights race. I am sorry I missed this one.
Most people in this league have been racing in leagues for over a year. At this point we should be able to start a race without running into each other.
But if we can't......I have a suggestion that would eliminate the restart issue. NO Restarts.
There are no restarts in any other form of racing. If someone blows an engine and wipes out the field in real racing (like lag), its just bad luck. You man up and finish the race. Then you go home, lick your wounds, and come back next week ready to go.
To me, that is the only real way to resolve the issue. Otherwise, someone is always going to feel slighted somehow..."he got one, I should have got one" kind of thing. The easiest thing to do is eliminate the gray area and just say no one gets one.

I don't know why it is so funny to listen to kids scream and freak out in other languages....and frankly I don't care why. That was funny!
