RULES AND REGULATIONS Monaco-Formula-One-Girls-2

Presented by OctoberDusk06, Sniper919, and Realistic Racing

Game by: Codemasters Birmingham Ltd. (v. 2012)

Day and Time
Sunday Nights at 9:30pm London Time (United States Eastern Daylight Time varies, but will normally be -5 hours (4:30pm) after the first race).
NOTE: Lobby may open a maximum of 15 mins. early for practice and qualifying will begin as close to 4:30 EDT as possible. During the finish screens and the start of a race where you are sitting in your cockpit, PLEASE do NOT start anything, this will result in the 30sec count down, and might not give enough drivers to plan their strategy or setups. Please don’t press anything, as this will allow us to record the results of qualy and the race also.
Note: Races will only occur the day that the actual F1 race is held, with minor exceptions. Please see the schedule for more details. Special start times announced in advance.

Director/2nd-In-Command

President & CEO: OctoberDusk06
Vice President and COO: Owen0501
Chief Race Steward: Bronn Edward

Cars & Builds

The first eight chosen by the team's #1 driver, those being within the list of teams available in the F1 2012 Game by Codemasters. No changes will be allowed after the start of the season. A driver wishing to join after the season starts will have their choice of the remaining teams and the next subsequent driver will be assigned to that team, and so on, until the field is capped at 16. A.I. set at "Legend" difficulty will fill the balance of the field unless we have six or more teams signed up for the series. However, if less than eight drivers show up for any given race, A.I. drivers, set to "Legend" difficulty will fill the field for that race to the amount of drivers who are signed up at that time.

Number one drivers will be allocated on March 14, 2013 according to a lottery system from those who sign up prior to 12 midnight March 13, 2013. Said #1 drivers will then pick their teammate. If the picked teammate does not accept, the team leader will keep asking remaining drivers. If no drivers accept the offer, there will be a random lottery to assign #2 drivers to teams. Drivers joining after March 14th will become #1 drivers and have their pick from the remaining teams. The next driver to join will be paired with the solo #1 driver on the same team.

Teams Available:
Red Bull | McLaren | Ferrari | Mercedes | Lotus | Force India | Sauber | Toro Rosso | Williams | Caterham | HRT | Marussia (Maximum of eight allowed for live race).

*The race thread will be used to announce the weather ahead of each race this season in our league. It can also be used for general weather chat. The weather site that will be primarily used to determine the weather is www.weather.com. This site was recommended by weather experts. (www.wunderground.com will be used as a backup for historical data). You can determine the "city" and "state" (if applicable) and "country" by looking up the track on wikipedia. On weather.com, it is possible to get hourly forecasts at the place where the circuit is located. The site seem to update very often (how often depends on the location obviously) which should give us the most up-to-date weather available at the time of the race. We will key off of the weather at the LIVE RACE TIME, and not our own Realistic F1 race. This will be done, primarily, by gathering data from two sources:
Before each race, the historical weather weather will be checked at 8:30pm British Time (one hour before the race) and actual race data reviewed (if available). Then, the official game race conditions will be announced in the thread created for that specific race or in the lobby before qualifying starts. Currently, OctoberDusk06 will determine the weather and take into account any driver's opinion as to applicable conditions before or after the announcement. The weather will be set by determining the race location and then looking at the two hours ("yesterday's" weather) at the time the actual race was run and apply that data to our race game. The weather at the actual race will only be a factor in determining the lobby race conditions, but not the determining factor, since everyone may not be able to watch the race and some races will end very close to our start time. Other races of ours, like Germany, will not be in the same town. So, even though the weather site said "light rain" for the first hour and "partly cloudy" at the start of the second hour, the actual race will then give us a better idea. Some or all of the he following criteria will be applied when making the weather decision:
Clear - Looking Forward: No rain predicted at the time of the actual race, for the two hours during race time. Looking Back: Sunny, mostly sunny, or partly cloudy. No rain fell recorded or fell on race and wet tyres were not used.
Partly Cloudy - Looking Forward: No rain predicted at the time of the actual race, for the two hours during race time. Looking Back: Sunny, mostly sunny, or partly cloudy. No rain fell recorded or fell on race and wet tyres were not used.
Overcast - Looking Forward: Cloudy skies predicted with less than a 30% chance of rain, on average, for the two hours of our race. Looking Back: Mostly cloudy with drizzle. Little or no rain recorded. No wet weather tyres were used or were used for less than 30% of the race by the race winner.
Light Rain - Looking Forward: Rain predicted with a 30% to 70% chance of rain predicted, on average, for the two hours during our race. Looking back: Drizzle, Light rain, rain, heavy rain. Less than one-half of an inch of rain was recorded during the race. Intermediate or Full Wet tyres used 30-70% of the race by the race winner.
Heavy Rain - Looking Forward: Rain predicted with a 70% chance or more of rain predicted, on average, for the two hours during our race. Looking Back: Heavy rain, thunderstorm. More than one-half an inch of rain fell on the track during the race. Full Wet tyres were used by the race winner for more than 70% of the race , if official.
The specific weather town/city that will be used to determine the weather for the next race will be announced early on in the week.
Note: If you want to look at the forecasts during the week, it's important to remember that these are only predictions and may not be reliable, since the weather for our race is determined by a host of data, but primarily weather.com and the race itself.

Livery Requirements
These are built into the game. Drivers are required to run their Gamertag in all events.

Points system

Same as actual F1 with World Drivers Champion and Constructors Championship Standings.
Summary: 1st place 25 points; 2nd place 18 points; 3rd place 15 points; 4th place 12 points; 5th place 10 points; 6th place 8 points; 7th place 6 points; 8th place 4 points; 9th place 2 points; 10th place 1-point; 11th place onwards No points. If you do crash your car, you may leave the lobby or spectate, unless you are the host (in which case you must spectate until the end). If you are scored within the top ten, regardless of circumstance, including lag, damage, or emergency exit, you will still receive points if you start the race.

Points are awarded equally to the driver and his constructor; for example, if a driver for one team comes second, eighteen points are added to his season total; if his teammate finished third in the same race, he adds fifteen to his total and the team adds 33 (the sum of the drivers' points) to its total. The championships are awarded to whichever driver and constructor have the most points at the end of the season.

In case of a tie, the FIA compares the number of times each driver has finished in each position. The championship goes to whichever had the greater number of wins; if they have the same number of wins, it goes to the driver with the greater number of second places, and so on. If this system fails, the director and 2nd in command shall determine the final order based on factors such as lap times, number of races attended, qualifying position, etc.

SPECIAL RULE: If there is an odd number of drivers, the driver last to join will not have a teammate, but his finish for any given race will be duplicated and applied toward the constructors race as if the teammate scored the identical finish.

Prizes: The WDC and WCC shall receive a copy of Codemasters' F1 2013. Runner up in both the WDC and WCC shall receive a copy of F1 2011. Only one prize per driver, unless that driver is both Champion and Runner-up.

Restart rules
Only restart allowed will be due to lag issues or lag crash within the first five laps. Only one restart per race will be allowed. No restarts for non-lag crashes, regardless of fault, intention, or racing circumstance. Decision will be made at the discretion of the lobby master.

Penalty Rules

Unlike Forza, penalties are handed out quite liberally in Codemasters' F1 2012. Therefore, this series will rely on penalties meted out by the game itself during all races. For instance, drive through penalties for blocking, causing a collision, and unsafe driving are routinely given. You must also give back positions gained that the game deems to be gained by corner cutting. Since the presence of A.I. drivers can cause unpredictable and haphazard penalties to be issued, penalties will be set to REDUCED until the field reaches six live teams. At that point AI will be eliminated from the game for that entire season and penalties will be set to FULL. However, if less than eight drivers show up for any given race, A.I. drivers, set to "Legend" difficulty will fill the field for that race to the amount of drivers who are signed up at that time, with penalties to REDUCED, until the grid is full.

There may be other situations where the game did not take into account driver error (usually on the first lap or so) causing substantial damage to many other drivers. In cases such as these, a panel of three drivers (to include and chosen by the Chief Steward [unless he is involved, then chosen by the Series Director] who are not involved in the dispute, but not to include the Series Director) will accept all evidence (via PM sent any of the series officials, unless all are involved, in which case RR Del Zaster should be contacted) from the complaining parties and be authorized to hand out penalties as follows: warning; 1-10pt. deduction; qualifying ban; race ban; series ban. More than one driver must be part of the initial complaint notice, which should be electronically signed by all complainants and contain "Official F1 Incident Complaint" in the heading. The panel must then agree entirely on the penalty. If two panel members agree, then that penalty will be applied and if all three disagree, then the Chief Steward (or an official or designated driver who is not involved) shall choose between the two lesser penalties (or no penalty) offered by each panel member. The accused driver must not have received more than one penalty for the same incident in the actual game to have a petition heard. All decisions must be reported to the Series President. (Note: all incident review petitions must be, barring extreme and unavoidable circumstances, received by midnight Wednesday, British Time, following the race).

Site Rules
The Realistic Racing rules are incorporated by reference herein, except the Incident Review Form, Yellow Flag Rule and Quitting Rule. However, even though the game dictates these excepted rules, this does not disallow other Realistic Racing driving and attendance rules to apply during these periods.
