British GT Round 2 Rockingham
Went to Rockingham motor speedway for round two of the British GT championship today. Weather was spectacular all day and enjoyed watching some close racing especially since my favorite car won( No.32 Porsche). Slightly different viewing experience for me, as i'm used to walking round the track as much as possible. Rockingham for those who don't already know is an oval track with a twisty infield section. You can see about half the track and have a great view of the main straight. you can also go via tunnel to the paddock and see a few more corners real close to the track.
Bar that though you cannot get to about half of the track. You can watch from some huge grandstands on the main straight and see the whole track, but not sure that's for me. Was a pretty interesting race especially around the pit stops, got some photos below if you want to check them out

Great pics. That black and red Aston is gorgeous. I'm envious of the cars, series' and tracks you guys have over there in Europe. The majority around here are like, well, Rockingham (North Carolina, near South Carolina border, USA).
But the way you describe it, sounds as if it's like one of our converted super-speedways, like Daytona or Indianapolis, only maybe smaller?

Not quite as good as Oulton but still some good close racing. Weather was perfect all day at Rockingham as opposed to freezing at Oulton. Looking forward to going to the next round at Silverstone, although i should be marshaling that one

My favorite car is the Demon Tweeks Porsche, what a sweet livery.

I really like number 32, the tartan terror. Also the number 10 Audi is the test platform for the new bentley GT3 that will hopefully be out at one of the final rounds of the British GT this year.
