INDYCARS ON FORZA5

OMG!!!  FORZA 5 adding INDY cars and GP cars!  Done - I will be buying Forza5!!!

i am already calling my gamestop to see when I can preorder!

We also get no fake driving AI and still no answer to aero fix?

Where did you read or hear about that?

No aero fix on IndyCar will make it a joke. And Forza seriously needs to improve their corner cutting ideas and either sh*t or get off the pot with that whole model. Further, they need to THINK what actual race conditions are like and add some improvements there, such as the option for in game penalties, and real time information on tire wear, fuel consumption, etc. Cockpit mode needs to be back, and more HUD information re: push to pass, fuel, etc. Obviously, open wheel cars race in the rain and at night, as do many other series'.

I was never a painter, but I can see where people who loved to do that will feel shortchanged. No question that Indycar is good news, but what about the tracks they drive on? Currently, I think we only have Indianapolis. We could also use Brands Hatch, Spa, more small ovals, and Watkins Glen. But that list never ends, lol.

Us painters are getting the shaft.

I just hate that the xbox one is shit compared to PS4, but I can't abandon Forza. And it's way to early for them to be releasing a lot of information about the game. I highly doubt we will lose the storefront.

Also they said it's more than just Indycar, more open wheels to be added

  

I'd be shocked if it was F1. Bernie wants his own privateer, I'm sure. Forza5 = probably something akin to Indy Lights or Skip Barber.

What would be really cool is if they got GP2 (which the FIA doesn't sanction anymore). They are just as fast or faster than an IndyCar and run the Dallara chasis, but road course built.

Regardless, they really need to change the race options and process. Otherwise, it's a really solid xbox racer.

I'm no painter or tuner, but I do think that T10 are failing to realise why this game is the No1 selling racing game on the console. They appear to have been caught up in the Microsoft hype and are in serious danger of losing their faithful fan-base!

You guys are coming to conclusions way to fast. The game doesn't release for months. They aren't going to release details like this at all for at least a few months. Give it time!

Absolutely Del, and some tracks to run them (and others) on, like Brands Hatch, Spa, Watkins Glen, Daytona, and Monza. Would also be great if they included some more small ovals and the latest Aussie Supercars.
