I like what you are doing here. Great group of cars to practice in. Definitely my style of racing.

Thanks.
I'm banking on a bunch of people feeling how you and I do about the racing. If you like GT racing, you'll like this even though they are just jacked up A class cars.

Where is everyone? Let's see some times! I know we have a couple series going on so if anyone wants a tune or doesn't have time to build a car post here and let me know. I'm happy to help and build any car.

Re: Blancpain Discussion
Luongo posted in the GTR. I already did the update before I saw it.
That is still only 5 drivers though.

I'm in but I may have missed a post on rules. .. I see the car list and 710pi but is there to be a race? Or just hot lapping? Either way I'm building a car or 2. If there is to be a race I need event times. See you after the holidays.

Re: Blancpain Discussion
The rules are a WIP. I was thinking that I would rather wait till I was sure with the rules before I post them. The last thing I want is to change things after someone else has read them.
There will be a series in early January with test and tune nights to occur in mid December avoiding the torture of scheduling through the holiday season.
Please friend me so I can update your times automatically. You will not need to post a picture of your times as proof if your time is your leaderboard time.

Do you have a smart phone?
Take a screen shot of your results time. There is an instructional HERE for uploading photos to the forum. You would have to start on step 5.
As for the Jag, keep playing with the build. I had the car running low 8s and even a couple high 7s.

@VF
I shared a build for the Jag named s710a. It will be the newest s710 tune available under my screen name. Try it out, if you like it I'll post the build and tune for you to work with.
I am a purist so I use no assists. To that point this car is a handful. I would recommend using traction if you're struggling with grip.
I ran about 10 laps and had consistent low 1:08s. Here's a screen of my best time.

Re: Blancpain Discussion
I can't believe how close and evenly matched you got all these cars. Every car will have its strength and weakness depending on the track. Check out how close my times are in the times submission page and keep in mind the cars at the bottom of the list have a lot less effort put into them.

Think I've got the merc going pretty well. Beat my Nissan time.

Re: Blancpain Discussion
The Merc is definitely strong.
As far as balancing goes, Forza PI plus a weight range is what I ended up using. Power to weight simply doesn't work out in this game for some reason.
FYI some cars are not as good as others but they are within a a reasonable time.

Re: Blancpain Discussion
Thanks for the build. I turned off all my assists about a month ago. Then discovered that all my tunes suck. Got mad and deleted all my cars and have started over. It's a whole new game. And I am struggling with throttle control still.

So far I have built 5 of the cars. The LFA is producing the most consistent lowest lap times so far. Mid 1.08s

Re: Blancpain Discussion
I'd have to say the RUF is my favorite so far. Something about the way that V8 sounds and how good it handles and it gives you that Le Mans GT feel. Even when you are not going fast it still feels like you are going fast lol

Re: Blancpain Discussion
I think s0ul's gold paint job for the RUF makes it go faster too. Just try it. Trust me. When your car looks good it's always faster!

Less air friction.
I liked that GTR paint you had Luongo. It was very sharp looking.

The v8 makes the RUF sound like the FM4 GT3 Cup cars.

I don't know who all has tried it, but the bently and I never thought I would say this, is a very stable drivable car, sure the times may not be the fastest, but in my opinion its is a very consistent car all the lap times ive gotten have been with in a few hundredths of my fastest at Silverstone national being a 1.08.237. with some minor build changes and some more tuning im positive I can get it in the mid 107s
