BLANCPAIN & TROFEO CHALLENGE RULES
SECTION 1 – RACE PROCEDURES
1. Grid Order
1.1. Grid order will be determined by reversing championship points
1.2. Championship point ties will resort by chronological sign up order
1.3. All standing start races will be random grid order
2. Formation and Out Lap
2.1. Lap One will be designated as the Out Lap for grid ordering purposes
2.2. Reasonable pace must not exceed 50 MPH during the final sector of Out Lap
2.3. Drivers must be in single file order by the final turn of the Out Lap
3. Official Race Start
3.1. Last driver to clear the last turn calls “CLEAR”
3.2. Pole position driver has until the line to call “GO GO GO”
3.3. If either driver fails to call, the race will start when the pole driver crosses the line
3.4. Penalties will be given for jumping the start.
4. Pitting
4.1. Pitting must occur during the pit window(s) to avoid penalty
4.2. Pitting driver must call the entry and exit from pit lane
4.3. Early pitting for damage is permitted under conditions
a) Damage combined TOTAL must be above 100% to qualify for early pit
b) Qualifying damage must be anything except Aero and Tires
c) Damage must be recorded via Game DVR to avoid penalty
d) Early pitting under caution will NOT qualify as mandatory pit.
5. Restarts
5.1. NO RESTARTS for accident damage
5.2. Restarts are only permitted for lag issues (including lag outs) during the first 3 laps
6. Flags
6.1. Blue Flags will defer to RR site rules
6.2. Yellow Flags
a) Legal reasons for calling Yellow
• Any Lag collision resulting in 100% combined damage.
• 3+ car collision resulting in 100% combined damage of all cars
• Accidents involving 2 cars or less do not qualify for Yellow Flag.
b) Procedures
• Yellow Flag pace will be set at 50 MPH until damaged cars pit and catch back up
• Maximum length of a Yellow is 2 laps
• Damaged cars (if lapped) do not get the lap back.
• Position at time of called flag is your position.
• Restart will occur at the line after damaged cars catch back up.
7. Disqualification
7.1. Disqualification mean you receive no points for the race
8. DNF
8.1. Points awarded as last place finish.
8.2. Multiple DNF's will score according to race completion percentage

1. Car Selection
1.1 Trofeo Series please select from either class
a)Once you have raced you are locked in that class
b)You may be assigned a class based on series participation
1.2 Blancpain Series choose 1 car from the 20 available
a)You may sign up in any car regardless of grid representation
b)Once you have raced you may switch to another vehicle
• You may only switch cars once during the series
• Switch must occur prior to Race 5
• The car you switch to can only be fielded a maximum of one other time by another driver
• A vehicle can still be selected for a switch if it is registered but not fielded yet
• Drivers of the non-fielded vehicle will still be permitted to run their registered vehicle
2. Tunes & Builds
1.1 Tuning time is unlimited
• You may adjust your tune up to race start
1.2 Building time is unlimited
• You may adjust your build up to race start
• Your car must still follow the rules for parts requirements
3. The Series Builds and Vehicles
***All Viper drivers must have wheels equipped that allow race inspectors to see brake calipers. This is the only way to verify build compliance with the Viper.

1.6. White Line Rules - Corner Cutting
a) If found to be intentionally cheating you will be ejected from the series
b) If found to be an honest mistake you will receive a race warning
c) Repeat offenders for mistakes will be penalized based on severity
1.7. General Track Etiquette
a) If found to be intentionally causing issues you will be ejected from the series
b) If found to be an honest mistake you will receive a race warnings
c) Repeat offenders for mistakes will be penalized based on severity
1.8. Illegal Builds
a) If found to be cheating you will be ejected from the series
b) If found to be an honest mistake you will receive a DQ for the race
c) Repeat offenders for mistakes will be ejected from the series

2.1. Avoidable Contact
a) Defer to RR Site Rules
2.2. Flags Ignored
a) Blue Flag – is called and lapped driver fails to allow a clean pass
b) Yellow Flag – is called and drivers fail to reduce speeds.
2.3. Jumped start or restart
a) Driver passes other drivers prior to race start/restart from yellow
2.4. Livery Infractions
a) Missing or wrong required series decals and logos
b) Decals in wrong locations
c) Non race themed paint (there will be a degree of leniency with this)
2.5. Pit Window
a) Window Missed - Pitted properly outside of window
b) Neglected to Pit – Did not legally pit during race
2.6. White Line Rules
a) Consecutive cutting of corners or cutting the same corner 3 laps in a row
b) Going wide to maintain velocity aka Eau Rouge at Spa
c) Any driving with 4 wheels over the line to gain an advantage
2.7. General Track Etiquette
a) Reentry on to race line which causes race traffic to slow
b) Driving at a speed you can not control
c) Aggressive driving (aka forcing a pass in a bad spot)
d) Intentionally drifting you vehicle
e) Driving backwards or in reverse to make an overrun pit
f) Doing donuts
g) Parking in an unsafe zone (aka at an overrun spot)
• Any parking should be done at pit lane by pausing the game
3. INCIDENT REVIEWS
3.1. Review Process
a) Request must be submitted prior Tuesday at 11:59 EST
b) Game clips of incident are required. (Actual in race clips preferred)
c) NO REQUEST OR CLIPS MEANS NO REVIEW
d) Submitted game clips will be reviewed by series officials
3.2. Avoidable Contact Penalty Tiers
a) Tier 1 - Stop & Go - (No critical damage, offender relinquishes position to victim)
b) Tier 2 - Stop & Go +30 - (Critical Damage occurs)
c) Tier 3 - Stop & Go +60 - (Reckless driving, Gross Negligence, Multiple avoidable contacts)
3.3. Defintions
a) Stop & Go: 30 second penalty based on the average time to complete a pit stop
b) Critical Damage: Any damage requiring a pit stop to fix to make the car drivable.
c) Reckless Driving: Driving without care for the other vehicles on track
d) Gross Negligence: Driving the car beyond your controllable limits
