Fifa League

We are looking at running a new Fifa league here. Basically the nuts and bolts of it are still to be sorted but I want to guage the interest for it before we invest a lot of time into it. If we start it it will consist of you playing 1/2 games a week with probably a 3/4 star team against others. All the game settings will be decided and you WILL have to run these for all of your league games and if you enter you WILL be expected to complete all your games especially as you will have the freedom to play the games as and when you and your opponent can and wish etc. I am thinking the game length to be roughly 10 min halves but that open for discussion. If it goes ahead we will have new Fifa league pages added to the site so all your game scheduling and scores etc will need to be done through the site etc. You will play each player twice in a season and the points etc will all works as to the real game. Luongo has very kindly offered to help out with this 1 so if he would like to take the job on once we have sorted enough guys and set the rules etc etc that would be a massive help (no pressure mate LOL). Also thank you to Mr Chelsea for agreeing to be our Club team coach etc so if you want to joing our club please feel free to message him or me for that. My hope is we can schedule the league games and in time the Club games each week and stick at it. Maybe for the club we could set a regular hour or 2 at a set time each week to get some structure to the club but that is in Chelsea's court so to speak.

I want to use Valencia. Is it really a big difference with the star ratings per team? I mean I don't think anyone who signs up is going to be using any 1 or 2 star teams.

I hear that mate my thoughts are to have an upper star cap at whatever we all decide say 3.5/4 star or whatever. I just want it to be fair for all etc ie 5 star team vs 3 star team etc. The reason for guidelines being its no fun being hammered each week by a stronger team etc and that would I think put people off.

Like I say thats just my view but its what you guys all want.

3.5 and I could run as the Red Bulls lol. To me it depends on the number of teams we could select. For example if we did say 2 star teams how many of them are out there? Also will we be able to use our virtual pro?

exactly we have lots to sort out as well as gameplay setup rules etc but wel get there

If you run the red bulls I'd probably go with Seattle. I'd say no to virtual pros just because some of us will have one who is good and some will have one who only sees the practice arena.

I'm down for whatever, if I can't run with Valencia then I'll have to choose another team, maybe the Chicago Fire, but we'll see once everything is hashed out.

Count me in also. 3.5 star teams would be good I think, as there are alot of them about. As for virtual pros, could be good but with an upper overall ratings limit around that of the best player in each team? At least it would give everyone the chance to build them up.
