Handicap Tournament Ideas

I am currently toying with the idea of a handicap system, to try levelling players, so new people, to the game, can play alongside those more experienced.

So far the main idea is:-
Everyone taking part, uses a newly made pro, no extras, and only uses this pro for Handicap Tournaments. Once the first 4 rounds have been, I will look into either allowing you to level up your pro in offline play to a certain level, or using pins. Not to sure of the exact method yet.

If anyone has any workable ideas please feel free to post them in this thread.

Id be cool with that as in real life you have a caddy but he doesn't tell you exactly where and how to hit the ball
