F1 2012 - How's The Game?
I know it's only been a couple of days, but any of our cousins from across the big pond got any feedback on F1 2012?

Re: F1 2012 - How's The Game?
Funny story about when I picked up the game yesterday. I went to my local Gamestop in our mall. I walked in and saw a massive line. Now I had pre-ordered it so I wasn't worried but I was thinking to myself, "Man I didn't realize how many people in my area (upstate NY) play or even know about F1." So im waiting and waiting and then I see it, " Boarderlands 2 release date 9/18. Serious blonde moment lol. Anyway I get up to the front of the line and the guy at the desk is a big Forza player. He goes," Your probably the only guy I know who will be here today for a game that isn't Boarderlands." Which is funny because its true.
Right to the game:
I started with the Young Drivers Test. Pretty easy but frustrating. I think I ran a 1.44 dead at Abu Dabi. I could go quicker but I've decided to play this game without the driving line. I had a few options for my career. HRT, Marussia, Caterham, Force India, Toro Rosso, and Williams. Now I'm a huge Caterham fan but I love the way the HRT looks. So thats who I went with. I set it on the hardest difficulty and went to Australia. I was running 7sec slower than Alonso. I realized the mistake I made. I went back to the menu and chose Caterham which was only 2-3 sec off the pace. Which is reasonable granted I haven't ran more than 5-6 laps. I saved it and tried Multiplayer.
I noticed first that almost 90% of F1 players don't use mics which is scary especially going into turn one. Of coarse there were a bunch of Louis Razias in there dive bombing and such but I had a few great battles. One thing I did notice was that after my first pit there was a trial of smoke coming from my car and a lot of it. I asked the guy following me who had a mic(which was shocking) if he could see it but he couldn't. I checked my cars status and I was in the clear. Something I think will be sorted.
Overall its a nice improvement from 2011. I haven't delt with the changing conditions or half dry/wet track but that will be cool. One thing I don't like is that in career you can only have 1 practice session. They have removed Thursday,Friday, Saturday, and made it one day. If you can change this please tell me how. U also like the new homepage, its very clean. The handling seems to be improved some. I will say this DO NOT think 2011/2010 setups are going to just transfer to this game. I usually use racedepartment for my setups online but I loaded one from 2011 and it was scary. The tires are much more easily abused and you have to be careful.
Hopefully enough people get it on the site, we might be able to start up a little championchip.

I know F1 is more popular over there, you might want to pre-order it

Probably best. Don't fancy driving around looking for a copy, although over here we have so much choice as all of the supermarkets sell games.

Ditto on that one. Freaking annoying. So not like the cars we have raced on forza 4 for damn near 2 years
