F1 leaving Speed TV moving to NBC Sports

So in case anyone from the states is unaware of the situation Fox who owns Speed is re-labling it as it new sports channel (baseball,hockey),ect and getting rid of speed. This is a big deal for racing in the US and its bad. This means we will lose F1 but also Grand-Am, V8 Supercars, FIA WRC, Continental Tire, and Le Mans. Like the article says F1 will go to NBC SPORTS NETWORK which means less coverage and crappy announcers. I don't now what FOX is thinking here, very poor move.

That's cool, wasn't the ALMS/GRAND AM merger for more tv coverage?

Think they got out bid unfortunately, i agree really bad news. Think NBC has hockey aswell. Not that it matters as hockey is locked out right now,again............

Also the speed commentary team were not informed and found out like we did

They were really good man. Varsha, Hobbs, Machett really made F1 interesting
