Endurance Race Series

My idea is to have a series that runs 1 time per month on Sundays. A few of us discussed this a few days ago.

Races will be a total of 6 hours long, Teams will consist of 3 drivers which will drive in 2 hour stints. Most Combined mileage at the end of the 6 hours wins.

Cars will GT be race chassis only.

I would like to get the consensus of the group. This would be great if we could get 8-10 teams.

Tracks will be: Sebring, Le Mans, Road America, Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca, and Nurburgring GP

What to you think?

Nice idea buddy however my hands the way they are I wouldn't be able to last that long but would I have the time anyway LMAO. I have also been messaged about another endurance type thing also and I will forward the details so you can look it over as we are discussing that 1 as well.

Well we could do a four hour race in 1 hour stints, only thing is that teams could consist of 2-4 drivers and divide the stints accordingly. 4m to the winning team divided into the number of teammates.

I would be interested in this, depending on the day of course. This is also something else I've wanted to do...besides a Pirelli World Challenge type of series as well, lol.

We could do it earlier on Sundays that way it don't affect preds series. Or you could schedule your stint around preds league. That is what ROSCOE said he was gonna do.

Reason I say Sundays is.that I have 2 off per month and I figured I would make the best of one of them. Lol

I understand that, I mean depending on how everything turns out I'll be more than happy to move my schedule around if need be.

Sweet. If we can get at least 2 teams by next Sunday I will make a sign up sheet, rules, make the schedule and rules. I am just saying this because I really have wanted to do this for quite some time. I would love to get this off the ground.

I am down! Either a Free Agent driver or I can try to pull a team together! I am sure Speed2 Racing Group could be represented in this! I am regardless! So if you need a driver, let me know! Dont make me be a true endurance guy! I will run the whole damn thing!

You mean a break in between for a driver change if we chose? or a mandatory driver change? I guess what I'm asking is can I do the whole 4 hour stint my self?

I would rather there be a team of at least 2 drivers and yes there will be an allotted 10 min. To allow for driver change.

But should the need arise I could possibly allow for 1 driver to complete the 4 hour race. I wouldn't want to but it could be under extreme circumstances. Lol

Looking for a teammate. I can paint up a car. We can test the cars and choose one. PM me if interested OR if you have an opening.

I will start a thread, I think this has gained enough attention to start a thread. I will have a car list together tonight after the Porsche cup race. I would like to have a 2 hour shakedown on January 20th if that is cool with everyone.

I will be building something!

Ya maybe, I'll have to get back to you on that one man. I was already talking with another driver about it but if that falls though you and I could run together for sure.

I was thinking of starting at like 3 so that is don't conflict with fscs
