New Tournament

All Please note a tournament has been added in the Country Club.

The tournament rules are actually harder than what we worked out yesterday. For the World Tour you will have:
green grid
Swing difficulty reduced from hard to medium
Tournament conditions

The rest will be as it is here. This 1 is just a test as Helen wants to test a lagout situation etc etc and look for problems that could occur.

This was my fault as I didn't make a full list of game settings etc and was in bed when Helen set it up, so this 1 is harder than it will be on the Tour. We are still going to play it though to test other things.

I have also updated the World Tour rules and we will continue to update them as we go before the World Tour starts.

The mix we have of game settings we feel gives enough sim but is playable at the same time. We think it will make the scores a bit more Realistic.

Ok so heres what I have learned

Helen set it up on their website as that is how it has to be done as you can't set them up in game.

Tries

She set it up for 2 subs and 2 tries

I did a dashboard halfway through hole 1 and that said I had 1 try left
I then started again completed hole 1 and pulled out my ethernet cable to simulate a lagout and when I went back in I was locked out of the tourny all 4 box's had an X in them. So I guess that I was a dnf due to me falling foul of the 2 submissions rule.

We can set this number at what we want and that will work on trust because after you finish your 4 rounds if you have any tries and submissions left the game lets you play your worst round again. So the rule is once you have played 4 rounds that is it etc. We can set the tries and submissions to unlimited to account for problems etc.

What do you guys think? I am thinking 5 and 5 and go on trust because it isn't nice if live goes down etc you will have no tournament score etc.

I would leave it to you or Helen as I had trouble with this myself in the last world tour, and got locked out twice. It really is your call sir.

I can PROMISE you that I have the highest HC!!!! LOL The first two rounds were +24 and +25 as I learned the game. Then I was +16, +15 with LOTS of Water Hazards. If I play as good as I could, I bet I am really +11, +12...... I wish I had those first two rounds back. That was learning curve from the last Masters and this game.

BUT - I think I will be ready for the next course. Might have to do some practice rounds today

I hit +25 and up in real life... Makes me feel a lot better seeing someone struggle just as bad in a game lol.

So how bad is my Handicap?

One day left to finish the handicap rounds. Then the real fun starts. Lol.
