SPA RESULTS (FINAL)

Much better this week, only 4 cars with livery infractions. As promised, penalties are now 2pts per issue

RACE REVIEW:

Spa lives up to its real life history of being one of the most epically dangerous tracks here in our mid season double points race. Although the Trofeo race was relatively clean, the Blancpain race was quite a mess. Keep in mind that the penalties listed below lay on top of a mountain of race incidents.

Trofeo:
Penalty
#95 - (-5pts) - Avoidable Contact - 29:59 sainted/sniper/stanman contact. Stanman recorded. Also witnessed on twitch. Appears that nobody took damage. Sainted pulled over to let everyone pass.
No damage on stanman or sainted. Sainted at fault.

#32 - (-10pts) - Avoidable Contact - 27:57 fiat gets hit from behind from Dan and takes damage. Fiat/Dan recorded Fiat pitted. Pit also recorded. Dan at fault.
***note***Drivers should not to pull over and wait in these situations. Dan was trying to do what he thought was right by effectively penalizing himself on the track. Rules state that pit worthy damage is a tier 2 offense regardless.

Warning

Blancpain:
Due to the "A" lobby setting mishap, all tier 2 incident where the offending drivers relinquished position will be considered a tier 1 penalty because it is impossible to estimate damage levels based on the contact alone.

#54 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact  - LAP 4. Contact delirium/rocket. Eau-rouge Delirium recorded. Delirium was hit from behind by rocket. He did lose a position to dragonjet because of the incident.

#54 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact - LAP 6. Contact stanman/#54 viper. stanman recorded. Rocket runs into stanman at final corner.

#95 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact - LAP 6. Contact sainted/delirium. Final corner right next to previous incident. Delirium recorded. Sainted hits delirium. Sainted at fault.

#94 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact - LAP 15. Delirium/rocket contact. Delirium recorded. Delirium hit rocket from behind. Both drivers went off track and came back on. Delirium at fault.

#76 - (-30 secs) - Agressive Driving - Comes from off track directly into the racing line of Miz creating the above incident.
***note*** This penalty will apply to the next attended race as the offending driver DNF'd this race.

#16 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact - Miz Rear ended #44 McClaren, no damage. This was due to the illegal reentry of the #76 car. The choice to press was clearly made as the #16 car first brakes for safety then accelerates in attempt to pass the #76 rear ending the #44 car.

#68 - DQ - Illegal Build - No Roll Cage

FINAL NOTE - Multiple drivers were reviewed for cutting corners however it was determined that the cuts that occurred were not intentional.
