LEMANS LA SARTHE (FINAL)

LIVERY INFRACTIONS:

There were way too many misloaded liveries to make a ruling on any paint infractions this week.

To the new drivers, please make sure you have read the livery rules and that your car complies. Penalties will be levied for all errors next race in our Finale.

RACE REVIEW:

This weeks event was relatively cleanly raced considering the extreme speeds at Le Mans. Multiple DNF's, multiple failed livery loads, tons of lag and 2 drivers unable to join the race pointed to another fail on Microsoft's part to provide us with an online environment conducive to series racing.

#52 - (-5pts) - Dan side swipes another driver going through the hairpin. Damage was caused however not enough to warrant a pit. Both drivers carried on with racing and pitted in the legal window.

#52 - (-5pts) - Dan admittedly hits the wall going into the first bus chicane losing control and wiping into 3 different cars. Damage was minimal on all cars involved and was not enough to warrant a pit. All drivers carried on with racing and pitted with in the legal window.

#44 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact - The #44 car locks up going into the hairpin rear ending Dragondezknuts' Corvette causing damage during the final legal pit lap. Luckily both drivers had scheduled pit stops during that lap causing minimal disruption to the race.

#121 - (-30 secs) - Avoidable Contact - The 121 car locks up going into the chicane rear ending Paramores Corvette causing damage during lap 1. Retom relinquished the position back to the victim. Damage amount is unknown however it does not matter as any time penalty would be null due to Retoms finishing position.

CONVOY and KickRocks were awarded last place positional points for attempting to join the race lobby unsuccessfully. I am sorry that we couldn't get you into the lobby. Hopefully next week Microsoft has their act together.
