SMV PreSeason Practice Race Nights

Tuesday 23rd April 2013 9:30pm EST/2:30am GMT

We will be holding a practice race night for these cars on the above day at the above time please feel free to look out for us and jump in.

It will be interesting to see these cars in action tonight. I am looking forward to seeing a mix of all 3 cars on the mixed grid so hopefully we won't have everyone in 1 car.

Should be a good time.

I have all three cars and I can bounce around them if there are too many of one kind.

Will it be Russ or you holding the room, Del? This way we know who to look for.

Both Russ and myself will be around. We will post here when a lobby is open and who is hosting it etc etc.

Del is the lead, Russ is second. My question is not out of line. I just asked WHO to look for. I asked WHO was because I know Del is on vacation. I don't see where that was an out of line question to ask? I want to know who to look for tonight. Don't worry, I won't ask anymore questions.

please can all owners view this thread. This is exactly why im close to walking away and doing something else. Have I ever not done my best to get people into lobbies and have I ever run a shit series if anyone thinks I have please pm me right now

Hey man I say this respectfully because I like you and enjoy racing against you, just take a step back, let people speak for themselves, and act like the man you are. No extra credit is given for a high post count etc. or getting involved in everything.

Del everybody knows you will run a great series and I don't think any thing said in here was meant to question that.

I will make sure there is someone running this practice night. My car will now not be on the grid tonight

Good racing last night. That oval was especially fun.

Sorry to have missed out last night, had another series race until abotu 9:45 and then when I did try to join, NAT issues Being beat from 45 minutes at The Brickyard in a late model stock car -- and only putting about 30 laps around there didnt help me any....with that didnt feel like messing with the reset and all.

Last night was a good test for the cars with a good turn and thank you to all the drivers that showed up.

Summary
The lobby was all in good spirit and that is exactly how the forum chat MUST be. It was a good 2 hour test and I saved all the replays so I can go through them (not done yet) and see if myself and Russ are happy the car builds etc are good enough for what were looking for.

There is 1 issue that was noticed with the Scirocco and that is the cockpit view mirror shows cars on the opposite side to what they actually are. We have 2 options for what we can do:
1. The drivers in that car understand and are ok with it
2. We make a car change (we can still use that car for the hotlap challenge)
please can drivers voice your opinions below especially sniper as I know you were in that car and using cockpit view.

My opinion before looking at the replays and just going on the racing I heard and saw as well as some of the laptimes etc it felt and looked good. I heard battling and remember several times when cars were 3 wide and overtakes which to me is a good sign but we will see when we review the replays etc. Please post below what you guys thought of the races.

A) learn the braking distance
B) not roll over

About the Sirocco, I don't mind the car but that mirror thing is annoying. Is it to much to change the car, I don't think so, but I usually race in hood view. But whenever you guys come up with is fine. May I suggest a Ferrari?
