Tuning App Review

I recently purchased Forza Tune 5 ($1.99) for Android and have to say I am definitely satisfied with the results. I would say it gets you 75% there, the rest is up to your own preferences for driving feel.

The key feature I see is that there is a setting for under steer and over steer. If you don't like the way the steering feels you can simply add or subtract over steer and recompute the tune.

Some of the constants I mentioned about are things that you should probably know how to set up for your own driving needs are:

Tire Pressure - 28.0 front and 28.0 rear
Camber - 1.8 front and 2.4 rear (the opposite of what I found in FM4)
Toe - 0.0 front and -.2 rear
Caster - usually above 6.5 (probably due to the high camber values)
Brake Pressure - default 85% pressure
Diff Accel - 60%
Diff Decel - 10%

If you have 2 bucks and suck at tuning like I do, its well worth it.

Thanks for the feedback s0ul. I got this app for Apple when it first released. I have to admit I have not used it much at all only because I've had outside tuning help. I'm not the greatest at tuning at all. I can vouch for that it does help. With my experience with the app it seems to take 1 to 2 seconds off your lap time starting with a stock tune. I think it is a great help for somebody learning to tune.
