OK, folks. Here is the recommended controller configuration for the XBox One. First of all, scroll down to the bottom of the settings and choose Input Type 2. Saving this for last will wipe out all of the settings above you just spent so much time changing. I had a different list I was using before I switched to the wheel on the PC, but this is far and above the better of the 2:

Input Type: 2
Steering Deadzone: 40
Steering Sensitivity: 0
Throttle Deadzone: 0
Throttle Sensitivity: 35
Brake Deadzone: 10
Brake Sensitivity: 25
Clutch Deadzone: 14
Clutch Sensitivity: 0
Speed Sensitivity: 75
Controller Filtering: 15
Force Feedback: 100
Advanced: Off

Be sure to post your Tips & Tricks here as you discover them yourself. The amount of customization in the settings is ridiculous. Since you could literally spend a day just setting the game up before you can truly start playing, post your cool finds here and save everybody the time!

I am using Scuff controller with paddles on the back for gear changes and at the moment I am using manual without clutch so the clutch settings are irrelevant to me. For anyone that isn't aware Scuff controllers are MLG approved they do not add any cheats ie rapid fire for shooting games etc just uprated parts and a few helpful extras

Input Type: 3
Steering Deadzone: 5
Steering Sensitivity: 10
Throttle Deadzone: 0
Throttle Sensitivity: 30
Brake Deadzone: 0
Brake Sensitivity: 20
Clutch Deadzone: 0
Clutch Sensitivity: 40
Speed Sensitivity: 85
Controller Filtering: 0
Force Feedback: 100
Advanced: Off

Unfortunately the game is very buggy on xbone compared to PC and ps4 guys. The handling is a little off also compared to PC. The cars are drivable but require ALOT more adjustments to the controller/wheel and car tune. They are working on an update for Xbox for those of you using a controller. I suggest finding a car you like and stick with it as you learn what all the adjustments do. "Not the carts they drive completely different" After you figure out all control settings with one car it's makes tuning the others much easier.

They are working on the bugs for xbone so don't give up on it.

Setup #1

Input Type: 3
Steering Deadzone: 0
Steering Sensitivity: 0
Throttle Deadzone: 5
Throttle Sensitivity: 40
Brake Deadzone: 5
Brake Sensitivity: 55
Clutch Deadzone: 10
Clutch Sensitivity: 45
Speed Sensitivity: 85
Controller Filtering: 0
Force Feedback: 0
Advanced: Off

Setup#2

Input Type: 3
Steering Deadzone: 25
Steering Sensitivity: 70
Throttle Deadzone: 5
Throttle Sensitivity: 40
Brake Deadzone: 5
Brake Sensitivity: 55
Clutch Deadzone: 5
Clutch Sensitivity: 40
Speed Sensitivity: 65
Controller Filtering: 45
Force Feedback: 0
Advanced: Off

Alrighty, Setup #1 is the original one I put up. Number 2 is one I have been tweaking on and off, I think I have corrected the snap back on the steering with it almost completely, the only problem is sometimes it is difficult to keep in a straight line on straightaways, as in it can be kind of twitchy. If I find a right medium to the problem I will edit this and post it up!

Setup#Money

Input Type: 3
Steering Deadzone: 5
Steering Sensitivity: 15
Throttle Deadzone: 5
Throttle Sensitivity: 40
Brake Deadzone: 5
Brake Sensitivity: 55
Clutch Deadzone: 5
Clutch Sensitivity: 40
Speed Sensitivity: 65
Controller Filtering: 45
Force Feedback: 0
Advanced: Off

This is my final setup that I have come up with, for me it feels spot on. Might be different for some of you, but here it is. #MoneyBaby

Mizz gave me permission to post his setup:

Input Type: 3
Steering Deadzone: 15
Steering Sensitivity: 0
Throttle Deadzone: 5
Throttle Sensitivity: 0
Brake Deadzone: 5
Brake Sensitivity: 0
Clutch Deadzone: 5
Clutch Sensitivity: 0
Speed Sensitivity: 70
Controller Filtering: 70

This setup helps create over steer in the car. It is great for diving into turns. The down side is it is not forgiving if you miss your entry point.
