The practice race last week(?) was at Laguna Seca. The schedule is in the first post. The dates just need to be updated.

It was a bad race for me I got lapped by him. I was doing 210/211s then I lost my groove and was messing up every lap

Oh CMR isn't in GTC. Thank you cause I thought I was in trouble.

Sorry Sniper, but you did have a great run though bud. Also, my apologies go out to Kayotic Cal for that last lap incident between him and myself there going into Turn 17. My view was very limited in that [Running in cockpit, in that Audi R18 is a pain due to the only window I can see out of is straight ahead of me.] I knew he was there on the inside, but just didn't know where due to the lack of vision. The next thing I knew [Well, technically heard] was Cal locking up the brakes going into the corner, and the sound was extremely close. All I could do was hope that the contact wouldn't hurt neither myself or Cal that badly. Luckily, it didn't damage neither mine or Cal's car, and we both kept on going.

I'll take the blame for that one. Trying to see exactly where you were I missed my breaking point and locked them up. Out of all the times you passed me that was the quickest you came up on me. (Being that it was the end of the back straight) I just didn't wanna mess you up being that you were the overall race leader. I also moved to the inside that's what kinda messed me up as well. You can't start that last turn on the inside, must be outside then move inside.

Does anybody have a solution to driving the porsche's from the cockpit view? I typically use that view but in this car I can't see a damn thing, it's all glare.

I know what you mean. I'm going to have to get some eyedrops or something because my eyes are burning after about 10 laps. Maybe I'll just wear my sunglasses. LOL

I think the blooming/glare is only a problem on a handful of tracks. I think.

I've given up and switched to the hood view. It's comparable but it still sucks because the cockpit of that porsche is awesome. Unfortunatley I can't see a damn thing. I'll try again when we switch to another track. It seems like the issue is the angle of view is upwards rather than flat to down at the track and that RPM display gets in the way as well. I can barely drive on what I see, let alone drive blind! haha.

I'm in pretty much the same problem, but not with glare. That R1 Audi R18 has such a small windshield to look out of, and talk about major blindspots too.
