Del's Porsche Race Series Empty Del's Porsche Race Series

Post by LethalHoudini 4/6/2012, 11:11 am

I know I have mentioned it to a few guys already and have had good feedback thus far. I will be running a either a Porsche Supercup Series or a Porsche vs Ferrari Challenge. It depends on whether I can get the Porsche and Ferrari models I want even in build and tune and will be looking nearer the time for a couple of test drivers once I think they are even to run them and check so we have more than 1 opinion. Whichever series I run it will be set tune and set build. I cant say what class it will be yet, all I can say is it will not be R class cars, im thinking somewhere between A,S. The PI will be an odd number so its easy to police and the tune and build will have to be downloaded from my storefront etc. The tracks will probably real world GP type tracks that show the cars ability at its best with a mix of speed and handling. As most of you already know my tunes tend to be on the handling true race car side. Artwork rules will probably include a couple of decals placed on your car and race type artworks nothing to heavy. Once im nearer the time and the cars are good to go il see what else is running and feed it into the calender so I can't give days and times as of yet.

Please post below if your interested in this one. Registration will NOT be given on a first come first served basis but on a reliable driver basis.

Ok guys here's where Im at. Sniper ran some test laps for me and thank you sir. I have the Ferrari pretty damn good but have some more work to do on the Porsche. Once I have that done I will be calling on Sniper and Sublime to test and go at it for me at a time that suits them both and when they are happy il be looking at the rules etc etc, so we are a few weeks away yet which I am sure you all understand I have other cars to prepare etc for current race series im in and doing site stuff etc. What I can say is this will be a barn stormer of a series when it's ready as I am working on a little twist in the tail and all I will say at this stage is that you may drive more than 1 Ferrari n Porsche.

yes sir it will be on Tuesday's. I am sharing Tuesday's with Sniper and his Vintage LeMans series so it will be every 2 weeks and about 8 to 10 weeks long (thats actual race night). 2 drivers 2 a team etc. Once I get everything sorted il post a full forum for it etc. I am still a few weeks away from and the first week will be a hotlap so as I can sort teams out as fair as possible. I can say it will be 2 races per night and every driver will have to drive 2 cars per night with and if I can get it right every driver will drive 2 Ferraris and 2 Porsches over the length of the series.

To assist me in getting info for sorting the cars for this series etc etc I have opened a Hotlap Challenge for the Porsche 959 and the Ferrari F40 in the Hotlap Challenge section of the site. Please read the rules carefully and give it a go please I need the help in gaining this info LOL. The more info I get the better the series will be.
