Project C.A.R.S.

Last night Tolley and I were talking about this game called Project C.A.R.S. He told me to check it out as it would be coming to the 360 sometime next spring. I started watching videos on youtube and I couldn't stop. I stayed up all hours of the night watching. If this game is remotely close on the 360 as it is on the PC I will be converting over to it lol. I think anyone who is a fan of racing games sould look for themselves.

Thats what I was thinking luongo. No it won't probably have 50 car grids and the same graphics (considering the 360 is now 7 years old) but it will have great cars & tracks. I saw a few on their wiki page that caught by eye mainly Bathurst, Spa, and The Glen.

Not to mention the cars. Del would be happy when he sees the caterhams. And Im really pumped on the older f1 stuff. Now I don't know how they'll go about liverys/desgins. The PC make it easy because you can put a design on a template then load it and your done. Im curious how they will handle that.

If this game is as good as it looks I will be putting Forza on the self. Its about time a development team actually starts premoting customers opinions.

I recommend the timelaps 240x night to day to night. Not only does the lighting look incrediable but the ever changing clouds really take the cake. The weather looks real, better than the F1 games by codemasters.

There are also good videos of comparisions with GT5 as well as in helmet view. Not cockpit, helmet.

And finally they really have the sounds right, just watch one of the 86 f1 races or 67. Cars look and sound incredible.

It has the potential to be the greats sim, in the woooooorrrrlddd.

I would buy this if its as good as you say, will have to look tomorrow and see what all the fuss is about but it can't replace forza.. surely not! Lol

The cars and tracks would be the game changer for me Fuzz. I know its the guys that made shift but they don't have EA telling them what to do anymore. I think that it'll be good. And I know when the 720 comes out the verision for that will be incredible.

Verry true but I think I'll wait until the next consol is out and buy it for that instead, love forza too much to replace it.. with horizon and f1 2012 coming out I won't be short on car games

I can't wait for this game to be released, because it has the Grand-Am Series in it. It includes Daytona Prototypes [Corvette DP, Ford Riley, BMW Riley, Ford Coyote, and the new VIPER DP]. Also, it includes the GT field [Chevy Corvette, Chevy Camaro, Mazda RX-8, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari 458, Mustang, and the new VIPER GTS.R]

It also includes, my home track, WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL!!!!! About damn time a racing game [Other then fricken NASCAR] to come out with my favorite track, and home track.

I got the game right before I got crazy busy and the laps I've run have been good. They've updated the beta builds with the multilayer protocols since I've last played so I can't wait to fire up the PC and give it a try when I have some more time.

As far as graphics it looked incredible on my brothers machine but decent enough on my low budget PC. I ran some laps on the karts to get used to it and decided to make the crazy jump to gp2 around suzuka after that. Car handled pretty well although I had a tendency to spin up the rear tires and get in a spot of trouble.

From what I've played the game looks like it'll be really good and with Spa, Monaco, The Glen, and plenty of other tracks and their former configurations this game looks like a possible must buy when it comes out.

I absolutely can't wait for this game. Will be bought for PC and Xbox
