Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
For only 5 cars we had some good racing. The pit roll was slightly funny but a shame. Good job to everyone that showed up, I had fun even with a lack of racers.

Hey Roscoe good to have you in I'm assuming as a holden. I'm currently running the Kelly Racing Holden (JD Livery). If your dead set on running it, I can switch to another livery.

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
Hey everyone,
I would like to apologize for my absence the over the past week or so. As most of you already know my area was hit pretty hard with Hurricane Sandy. Not as bad as say New Jersey or NYC but still pretty bad. Because I work for a utility when a storm hits the entire company goes into "storm mode". I was working 16hr shifts from last Tuesday to this Monday. Not to mention I had a cold which started Monday morning, which really made the past week a hard one.
That being said I am now back in action to run the V8's. I want to thank Shane for running Saturdays race and supplying photos that are very cool. I am concerned about the attendance numbers, hopefully that will turn around. Also Gunz I'm really sorry about our connection issues, a while back Luongo and I had a similar problem that sorted itself a few weeks later.
I'd also like to welcome our new driver. Roscoe aka "caddy daddy" to the V8's.
As many of you know there is yet to be a point’s table. I am working with Ms Helen on getting that up and running. I'd like to thank her in advance for that.
I will be holding a practice session tonight around 7pm for Round 3 of the V8 Supercar Championship at Sebring Short.
I almost forgot, there may be a smaller snowstorm blowing in today into tomorrow. I don't think it will be a severe as the hurricane Sandy but it may have me back on those 16hr shifts for a few days. If that were to happen again I would like the championship to keep moving. Shane if your up to it I'd like you to hold the race if I am unable to make it. If for some reason Shane and I were to lose power maybe Luongo or Del could hold the race. These of coarse are what ifs but I want to be prepared. I will inform all of you if my work schedule changes again.
Please feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns,
Sniper

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
Ok guys so here's the deal. I've been called back to the where I was for the previous storm. Meaning they're expecting it to hit pretty hard. I am not exaclty sure on what my hrs will be but I will try and keep you all up to date.
Again I'm sorry that as the Director of this series I have not been around but I can't control the weather. Del, Shane, or Luongo ill be in touch.

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
Ok guys I watched the replays for Tskuba and Sebring last night and will be handing out penalties later tonight. There is a thread that I would like all drivers to read and respond too. Also Gunz and S N G have been removed from the championship (sorry gunz). So we have 2 slots open in each car if anyone wants to hope in.
As far as the points table I will look into that today as well.

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
Dang it, I really wished my mother would have let me get online tonight. I would've entered this. I may not be a fan of oval racing on Forza, but, V8's on the Brickyard just sounds really cool. I hope the racing went well tonight for you all.

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
Hey guys, sorry I missed this past week. Due scheduling it look like I will have to back out of this. I can only do every other weekend now. Since that would take me out of half the races for the series I will just give up my spot in the Ford so I don't hurt the team. Good luck for the remained of the series guys. Also if anyone still needs help with tuning just let me know. Just because I can't run Saturday nights doesn't mean I can't still help out during the week.

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
Hey there Sniper, there's a chance that I may not be able to make it to this Saturday's [11/17] race. Though, I won't know for sure on this until tomorrow night [That's if they actually call me Friday night] If they don't, I will be running. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Re: V8 Supercar's Discussion
PiiHB - If you want to run when you can thats fine. If we had a waiting list on people joining the series it would be a different story. Let me know before I take your name of the entries list.
Tolley - Let me know when you can.
