Application for Series Startup

Please understand that we may deny your series for several reasons however we make every effort to work with you to provide a venue for your series to operate. The major reasons for denial are competition (aka, your series is competing for driver's with another series.) and reliability.

Rules:
Start: double file 1 lap 55 mph
Restart: anytime when there is a wreck involving 3 or more cars, single file 55 mph

Lobby:
Simulation damage (except in qualifying)
Collisions always on (except in qualifying)
All assists off except driving line

Qualifying:
3 laps before start of race
Cosmetic damage
Collisions always off
Cleans laps will be counted before dirty ones

Contact:
Contact is allowed BUT if the contact results in 20% or more to the other car you made contact with you will either have to make a drive through penalty or action will be taken after the race
Side to side rubbing: ALLOWED
taping rear bumper: ALLOWED
pushing someone off track: NOT ALLOWED
spinning someone out: NOT ALLOWED
purpoesly wrecking someone else or your own car: NOT ALLOWED

Mics:
Mics are required to race
If you fail to have a working mic at the time you enter the lobby you will be kicked
No mic=no race

If you lag or back out during a race you will not receive any points.
If your car is undrivable go the pits or pull off the track. DON'T LEAVE THE LOBBY

Penalties:
Dangerous Driving: suspension/loss of points/disqualification
Corner cutting: loss of points/suspension/ drive-through penalty
Liverie infraction: loss of points
Upgrade infraction: disqualification
Wrecking own car on purpose: suspension/diqualifcation
Wrecking other people: loss of points/ suspension/ drive-through penalty/ disqualification
Mic failure: suspension

If you like the idea I am free to start it whenever I can wait till after the formula drift lobby or if possible try to squeaz it in between it.

Just to let you all know.

Only a couple of us have been using this section in the past and it is a new thing where we have had people using it etc so with that in mind we are trying to keep things organised and not get confusing etc so please can everyone use the template Shane has made etc. We are looking at that is being proposed as well as looking at better ways to organise things so we don't miss anything.

You should post it here, not PM it.
It helps us keep better track and lets other potential series coordinators know what we have currently on the shelf.

Update

We are reviewing and looking at a few series that you guys have put forward. We have also voted in something pretty big, new, and exciting for RR but it will take a little time to put together which is why at the moment there is a delay in saying yes to any new series as well as looking at what we have running already. It is looking like Tuesday's will be used for the new venture but we are currently in talks over the next week or so. Please bear with us and we will update things as soon as we can.

Details for series will mainly follow Season 1 Guidelines with small changes. (ie qual setting, may change a few track, addition of Viper etc etc, thread locked and wont let me make changes)

We have closed this section for now for the following reasons

We have enough series on the go at this moment in time
We are going to review whats been put forward up to now as soon as we can
We think this section of the forum is getting messy and are looking at tidying it up and working on a better system that does the same job

When this section was first created it was just a place for me to put my ideas down etc and since then obviously things have changed and thats cool but it isn't really fit for purpose anymore and we need something better and more organised. I am sure you understand it's getting confusing for all.

so please refrain from posting in series in the making at this time
