This shit just got real. I haven't been able to even finish one lap on Laguna Seca with my new wheel. I think I may have to use the paddle shifters instead of the H shifter.

Paddle shifter is def easier for road course racing. H pattern is easier on ovals.GuNzAbLaZiN69 wrote:This shit just got real. I haven't been able to even finish one lap on Laguna Seca with my new wheel. I think I may have to use the paddle shifters instead of the H shifter.

Yep, I've just got my first win since switching to paddle shifters. Although, the competition wasn't running that fast. But I'll take it!

Congrats, I did actually watch a couple of minutes of that race whilst hockey was in it's intermission. I've had a second and two thirds throughout six races, not the elusive win as of yet though

Re: iRacing General Discussion
Yeah, my first three races weren't very good because I'd keep losing control. Once I figured out how the car handles I have done much better.

Re: iRacing General Discussion
So i tried it out yesterday. My FPS is at high 22 and low 12. That's a test drive with 1 ghost lol. So it looks like I'm not going to be able to race online.
I would like to say that it looks like fun and I will run some more hotlaps but thats it unfortunately.

I know, $2 a pop - I tHink that the hosting cost is what's deterring hardcore gamers, but real sim racers bite....
