Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
With the race nights being about 2 hours do you plan on having them start strictly at 9pm eastern?

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Yeah the qualifying isn't mandatory for you to be able to race and there are no points for it. If theres someone that will be 5mins late we might wait if they notify me beforehand but otherwise yes right at 9.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Dont be concerned if you dont have the build check completed for tomorrow since the servers were down and i couldn't look at any of the tunes. If you are running Dragonjets tune let me know and you wont have to worry about sharing the tune.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
The racing was good and clean. Me and doctorz went at if for a large chunk of the race and i know there were battles for 3rd and 5th. at the beginning it took a while for everyone to break up it seemed as well. So overall it was great.

SERIES WARNINGS
Popinbox - Corner Cutting
Popinbox - Aggressive Driving
SERIES CONCERNS - ALL COMPETITORS
The last lap tonight was very chaotic and there were numerous incidents. Please be careful when it comes down to the final lap, especially when it is a last lap restart like we had. No one person is at fault for the actions of the last lap, even I caused an accident. Just remember that the racing is tight and to be aware of your surroundings at all times and call your moves early!

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
On a less serious note lets keep up the great racing across the board and lets continue to have fun!

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
I liked the final lap chaos. After racing by myself for most of the laps it was nice to be up with the group.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Well that's one of the benefits of the cautions. It's just the accidents is where I want to cut down. I'm all for close racing and this series was put together to get that and for the most part it's achieving that.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
I for one would vote no more green white checkers. Cautions breed cautions. Either run it under yellow or make it a two lap dash instead of one. we have no fans to appease with a green white checker and SCCA will end races under a caution.
On another note I'd like to hand it to Fiat for a great series, keep up the good work!

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Well with in the past Forzas, Dagonjet and another guy came up with the caution system that seemed to work. The only change, and the change that caused it to be a last lap dash, was the pitting sequence since we didnt run with damage on since you couldn't fix aero back then. I think when it comes to the pitting sequence under caution, I'm going to change it to be done inside 3 laps to go. But also just giving people room on both parties will help with the cautions, and because people didn't do that, is why we ran into the situation.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Actually I just re-read what I had put down and technically we shouldn't have had a pitting sequence for the last caution. But seeing as it was a major accident and it was close to the start of the lap, it was the fair thing to do since multiple parties were involved as I remember. From now on though it will be with three laps remaining the pitting sequence is done.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Not really sure what to say about that YAS race. Not very satisfied about seeing F1AT slam into the wall because his controller died. It was funny how fast he changed the battery though.

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
IS it bad that he switched batteries, hit the wall, and I STILL didn't catch him? Wait I'll answer that. Yes. *sighs*

Re: SERIES DISCUSSION
Just wanna say this series has been fantastic! Fiat you are a mad man! I've never had so many back to back laps of such tight racing. All it takes is just one mistake and you are gone! Great racing! I appreciate the very fast and clean racing from everyone in the series.
